Agree 100%. The 17 ranking is purely a function of Vander leaving. If he had stayed we would be 10-12, regardless of what McKay did.

You nailed it on McKay. The impact won't really be felt until next year, Otule and Gardner give us plenty for this year. Hopefully Buzz can string together some recruiting magic before then.
