In the house

Here's a list of recruits expected to be in attandance to Saturday's 'Marquette Madness' festivities, starting with a few of the usual suspects:

Nick Williams (committed)

Iman Shumpert (final vist before he'll choose between MU, North Carolina and Georgia Tech)

Jared Swopshire (likely down to MU and Louisville)

Diamond Taylor (Westchester, Ill., St. Joseph's, Class of 2009)

Evan Anderson (Eau Claire North, Class of 2010)

Here's a couple newer names:

Erik Williams (6-foot-6 forward from Cypress Springs, Tex., Class of 2009)

Joey Brooks (6-5 guard from Strake Jesuit in Houston, Class of 2009)

Two local standouts who were originally scheduled to attend - junior Jamil Wilson of Racine Horlick and sophomore Flavian Davis of Wisconsin Lutheran - won't be able to because of prior commitments.

As far as upcoming visits, guard Tyshawn Taylor of St. Anthony's in Jersey City, N.J., will be in Milwaukee next week.

Chris Otule, a 6-10 senior center from Fort Bend Bush High School in Richmond, Tex., is working on scheduling a visit within the next few weeks.

Keeyan Half Court Dunks

Diamond Taylor, from my hs, St. Joes.
He's the number #1 player in IL for the class of 09, he is a stud.
Lets get that St. Joes connection (William Gates, Amal McCaskill) going strong.

Two more recruits are supposed to be there according to Rivals, both guys are rated 3 Stars by Scout and Rivals:

Jerrone Maymon, 6'6 SF from Madison Memorial(Wesley's HS), Class of 2009
Luke Russell, 6'9 PF from Menomonee Falls HS, Class of 2009

I think I read somewhere that Johnnie Lacy 5'10 PG from Milwaukee Bay View, the #19 player in the Class of 2009 according to Hoop Scoop and 4 Stars according to Scout, was also supposed to be there, but now I can't find it.
