Rivals has a story up - -he narrowed his choices to three schools.  Anybody heard anything?

I'd expect that VaTech and MU are two of the final three since he never actually visited Virginia.

Tulsa Warrior

Marquette, VPI and Harvard.  He goes to Boston this weekend.

Lets hope Seth is the fire hydrant on this one.....and Frank realizes that Amaker is a marginal developer of talent.  (that darn Harvard education though, wow)

I play poker with a few Harvard MBA grads from work and one thing they don't teach you is how to gamble. I mean these are kids who have undergrads from Chicago, Duke, Yale and the like with MBA's from Harvard and they are all terrible poker players. It is fun taking their money.

They know how to plan ahead. They are setting you up for the big score. ::)

Sorry to be ignorant, but what is VPI?

Virginia Polytechnic University or Virginia Tech.

Virginia Polytechnic Institute? I'm not sure but I'm assuming the I wouldn't stand for University.  :)

Virginia Warrior 77

Originally Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University; now simply Virginia Tech

Where does MU rank nationally in engineering?----that seems to  be a big deal with Ben. If we are competitive in ranking with Virginia Tech and Harvard, we're in good shape!

Basketball is one thing and we are in good shape to argue our case there. But, if you're talking academics, nobody in there right mind, says no to Harvard, NOBODY.

depends on what type of engineering for one.  I know they are all top 40 schools in a few different fields of engineering.  Harvard and VT are both top 25 all around engineering schools, but if he's interested in high level academics AND basketball, MU is the place to go.

Bart Miller said no to Stanford.  It happens all the time, people do turn down Harvard, Yale, Stanford, etc.

Great memory. I was at that game, with my brother, who was a USF grad. What a fun night!

no one in their right mind.

Bart is of sound mind and body, finishing his Masters at MIT.  He's doing great.

That's true.  Bart is VERY smart.  I had him in quite a few engineering classes and I believe he Aced pretty much all of them.  Great guy to go to when you had homework questions and even better guy to sit next to during an exam - Just kidding!

AZWarrior

I was a Electrical Engineering major.  I've also got an MBA from a top 5 school, and found the BSEE was MUCH tougher to achieve than the MBA thing.  So I'm really, really impressed that Bart could ace engineering courses while being on the team.
All this talk of rights.  So little talk of responsibilities.

You're one of those crazy people that understand circuits...and believe in imaginary stuff...want to help out a civil engineer sucking in circuits for dummies?? lol

AZWarrior

MUWarrior87 - It really is kind of wild that, in order to describe the behaviour of a basic circuit, one must use imaginary numbers.   :)

Keep your chin up and the best of luck to you.
