Great year.  I hope that in another decade, we look back at this year as the one that really broke us through--when no one expected us to, we showed that we could compete on a consistent basis with all the best programs at the biggest moments.

Can't wait until next year.

Long time reader, first time poster.  This was a fun year that greatly exceeded expectations and really makes me look forward to next year.  Very proud of the way that they competed and represented Marquette.  Thanks to Buzz and the team.

KenoshaWarrior

we went into the season playing with House money and ended up cashin out huge!!!!!  This os so memorable because unlike the Wade 2003 year where you knew everyone was gone, you know the most important parts of the team will be back!!!

So freaking proud!!!

Thanks guys and coaches for a great season.  I was laid up since jan with ankle replacement surgery and listening and watching the run to the elite 8 ..certainly made the time go by.   Such a effort from a group of fine young men.   thanks again.

I am still at work (have been for the past 14 hours on an SAP implementation) and this was the first game of the season that I missed at least hearing a portion of.  It will be painful to watch the DVR.  The last game of the season is always painful unless you win it, which only one team really does (forget NIT, CBIT, etc), but this team went way farther than we had any right to expect.  I have been proud of every Buzz team, and this team is no different.

Hobbes:  What's misunderstood about you?
Calvin:  Nobody thinks I'm a genius.

Just realized, I sat on my upstairs couch for all 3 NCAA victories, but sat downstairs tonight and we lose.  >:(

Just got beat by a better team today who is playing very well right now.  Terrific season.  Next year bodes well if we can get solid point guard play.

Proud of the team this year.  Buzz did great.  Proud of the university.  Future is bright.

Let's Go Warriors!

I did not wear my lucky socks for the game.  They were still in the laundry from Thursday.
