Could start earlier, but one thing I noticed at the BEast tourney this past week is that 30 second timeouts were converted to full time outs for what I'm assuming is TV purposes. I'd expect the same for the tourney.  

The early game starts 12:40 EST, give it a min 2 hours and the break and you're talking a 3 p.m. EST start.  With the timeout extensions for commercials I'd say 3:10 EST is a safe bet.

FYI: The first 30sec timeout in the half is always extended to a full timeout. Regular season and tourneys.

Advantage of the Thursday game is that (God willing) if we win, the next game is on Saturday. Which makes for an awesome Saturday.

Question: Do I understand correctly that the winners out of our bracket play next in DC?
