I HATE UL, and I mostly hate the way they play. They force so many TO's because they hack and grab and hand check all over the floor. It's the old "they can't call them all" philosophy. It makes me sick. It's cheating the game. It's a freaking BS way to play. if they had to play teams straight up without that garbage they'd lose a lot more games.

The refs did swallow their whistles tonight (big time), but I don't think UL necessarily banks on that philosophy. I mean, to a lesser extent then what you're saying, all teams/players aggressiveness depends on what the refs are calling on a particular night. If the refs are calling everything, teams are going to play a lot less aggressively and vice versa. I think a lot UL's aggressiveness tonight was based on the Wild West tone the refs set to start the game.
