Assuming you can connect, is the signal going to be fast/reliable enough to watch an entire game without freezing?

Where are you staying? When the wife and I stayed at Sandals/Whitehouse in 2008, ESPN was available on the in-room lineup.  You're likely better off finding a place with ESPN rather than watch over the net.

We are going to be at Sandals Whitehouse too, awesome to hear that they have ESPN!

@Red Stripe - I'm going to lay on the beach, drink rum punch and eat jerk chicken.  White House, Jamaica is down on the South coast, so there really isn't much to see besides the mountains and forest (and obviously the beach).

I've seen the real Jamaica.  Stayed in Ocho Rios at what's now known as "Rooms Ocho Rios" for a week in October 1998.  The first person I spoke to on the other side of customs was also the first of several offers to purchase weed I received that day.  Went on day-excursions to Negril, the Blue Mountains, and a half-day at DRF.  Spent the better part of two hours one day watching my buddy haggle with someone at the market for a mini-totem decoration from his office (initial ask $100, initial bid $5, closing price: $10 plus a free sea-shell keychain).  Haggled with a couple jewelers, smoked a couple (likely counterfeit) Cubans, taught myself to blow 151 fireballs at the pool bar (didn't have hair on my right arm for weeks following).  Walked past hundreds of stranded travelers at MBJ en route to our departing flight, which ended up being one of the last flights off the island before Hurricane Mitch closed the airport.

But nothing topped the zenith of the week... against recommendations from others, my buddy and I ventured out the night we arrived into the massive street party preceding Heroes' day.  We walked down Main Street for a few blocks before turning around to make our way back, in the process being propositioned no fewer than a dozen times during the 30 minute walk... fortunately, it wasn't too difficult to decline, though I was curious as to what one girl had in mind when she responded to our "no, thanks" with "no worries, I'll get some friends and we all..." (the rest was inaudible as we walked away).

I'll never do anything but AI if I ever go to Jamaica again.  Not that I'm afraid, but because AI silences the temptation of having to top 1998.

BTW - You've done yourself good, Skats.  The only complaints I've ever heard is the drive from MBJ.  Aside from being an hour or so to the south coast, it is shall we say, interesting, so fill up on the free liquor at the Sandals airport lounge while you wait for the shuttle.  I highly recommend maximizing use of the Hobie Cats, especially on the moderately windy days.

Staying in Whitehouse puts you fairly close to YS Falls, Black River, Floyd's Pelican Bar, Peter Tosh's house, Bamboo Alley and Appleton Estates, plenty of things off the reservation
