We won the game with 6:19 left in the game when Jamil hit a jumper to put us ahead 50-45. Joe Lunardi said "first team to 50 wins". They may as well have called it at that point.

This Marquette team is coming into their own identity.  The have great talent - great depth - and great experience.  We should go far this year!

I think we match up well with slower pace, defense teams.  I think we will struggle against high octane offenses this year.  We just don't have the offensive firepower to keep up.

Can't complain about 3-0 at this point though.

Absolutely agree with this.  When we put up quick shots and miss it can be Katy bar the door.  I cringed every time Boatright or Napier were at full speed back in the UConn game.  It's almost like we need to play the 'Wisconsin Swing' this year.  Funny how the personality of the team is a bit different than I would have expected.
