Anyone else seen this before?  It looks like it may have been a prototype for the carrier game, because if you look at the close-up of the side color trim, it has a camouflage texture to it.

Nike had a site a couple summers ago where this was one of the templates, so I don't doubt the story behind it.

There was a thread on here about it, but I'm too lazy to dig it up.

I've eye-balled that jersey myself, and it looked like one of the prototypes featured on the Jordan website the summer we switched over from Converse.  There was a thread on Scoop at the time speculating a change, and the jersey you found on ebay appears to be a Nike sample or demo if I had to guess.  

off-topic, your subject line reminded me of a new years resolution of mine...to off-load some old jerseys in my collection through ebay.  Anyone interested in 1970's jerseys from C-7 schools (Notre Dame, St. John's, etc) should look for an auction soon.  Gotta replenish my funds to score some unnumbered Marquette jerseys for autograghs.

Looks like a woman's jersey.

And it definitely is a sample because "Marquette" isn't stitched.

The body cut and neck line suggests it, IMO.
