I agree with everyone that we are incredibly bad against the zone, but does anybody think that all the time we see against it will help us out aginast teems like syracuse?  All they do is a zone and the more we see it is only going to make us more prepared for it when we play them.  We usually go into that game and are shocked by the zone and spanked.  If we play them a 2nd timme that year we usually do well (the tourney in '11).  Does anybody think this will help us?

Maybe, but Syracuse's zone defense is better than any other zone defense we have seen this year...not to mention they have way better players.

honkytonk

Im worried about the next game...not one that wont be played until late February at the BC. Besides, no team lost more than SU did (two sophs to the NBA (Waiters and Fab) and two seniors to graduation (Joseph and Scoop)). They arent as good as their ranking indicates and they have a lot of inexperience.

completely agree.  All they do is zone and they have the perfect players to fit the system.

And yes they have lost a lot, but that's part of the game.  SU always restocks with great talent.  They will have other players to fill the gaps.
