My read: C7 is getting the Big East name and will split after this year if the NCAA will give both conferences automatic berths to the tournament.

...and, honestly, the new football mashup isn't that bad, honestly. Cincy, Memphis, UConn is a great basketball core. I'm happy to be in a basketball-only league, but I think these guys are taking it the right way and both conferences will be better because of it.
