I found this article on the 'Nova SB Nation website.  I'm not sure exactly how reliable of a source, but it had an interesting breakdown of the finances of the BE7 and the other possible additions.

Notably, I didn't realize that Marquette had such significant revenues/profits ($14.4M/4.5M in 2011-2012).  Any one know more about this to substantiate this?  Is this mostly because of ticket sales?

The last time that figures were discussed, I believe that MU was second in gross basketball revenue to Louisville in the Big East.  I don't think that a breakdown as to sources of revenue was provided.  I'm guessing that local TV revenue plays a significant role.
You actually have a degree from Marquette?

No...and after reading many many psosts from people on this board that do...I have to say I'm MUCH better off, if this is the type of "intelligence" a degree from MU gets you. It sure is on full display I will say that.
