If the C7 really need two football schools to dissolve the league, it now looks like The C7 may very well get them.

Transcontinental Conference?  It looks like the C7 also expect to keep the Big East name.

I now strongly suspect that the Big East will be dissolved, but the C7 has agreed not to use that term until UConn and Cincinnati can figure out their next step.
You actually have a degree from Marquette?

No...and after reading many many psosts from people on this board that do...I have to say I'm MUCH better off, if this is the type of "intelligence" a degree from MU gets you. It sure is on full display I will say that.

i mean I hope it goes like this: "we can lawyer fight, and the whole contry can hate us and our crap, or we can figure this crap out amicably. we keep the name and msg, and some NCAA shares. you get money and can stand on solid ground for a few years until a real league snatches you up, and you make astronomical amounts of money. sound good?"

Remember the C7 are still members and the only unified voting block.

This is confusing, cincy and uconn have leverage somehow? Even though they are still going to try and bail for the acc? But they want to start a new conference, not the big east, with other schools from the MWC? So they might vote to dissolve the league along with the C7, but also try to get into the acc one more time?

????
