Some random Marquette-Wisconsin thoughts

They'll play for the 118th time Saturday. They're 2-2 since Buzz Williams arrived. The Golden Eagles have won at the Kohl Center. The Badgers have won at the B-Mo Bradley.

The love fest he describes in Minneapolis is a bit overstated, there was certainly some.  There were also a number of UW-madison fans that left after Bo refused to double down on Estill and they lost to Kentucky even though Bogans, their best player, was out of a good chunk of the game...only Estill could hurt them and he did all day long. Oh what could have been for Becky.  We were the second game.

+100 Chico's - was not all a lovefest by the bucky fans for marq that day...

Benny B

Certainly wasn't any love from UW on Saturday, they were all home by then.  ha ha ha ha ha

Wow, I'm very concerned for Benny.  Being able to mimic Myron Medcalf's writing so closely implies an oncoming case of dementia.

I was at both Marquette games and what I remember about the Pitt game is the Badgers fans pretty much sitting on their hands in the first half.  Only when we made a run in the second half did you see cheering for Marquette.

Not complaining about Badgers fans cheering for us... we were happy to have it.  But let's not pretend the place was raucous with Marquette and Badgers fans singing kum-ba-ya in that second game.
