Let's talk about the tradition of college football.    Gotta love the Big 12.   Texas, Texas A&M, Oklahoma, Nebraska...
Oh, no, Nebraska is in the Big 10 and the Aggies are in the SEC.   Just ruined Bama's undefeated season.
Get the F outta here.    Well, at least the ACC is secure.   Nothing would break up Tobacco Road.
Oh, no, Maryland left and joined Rutgers in the B10
Get the F outta here!   Rutgers in the Big 10?!?!    I assume they must have joined after Notre Dame joined the Big 10.
Oh, no, Notre Dame joined the ACC.
The ACC!?!?   Get the F outta here.    Well, I guess that is pretty good for the ACC.
Yeah, they took ND after poaching Syracuse and Pittsburgh.    And then Louisville.
GTFOH.    Louisville!?!?
Yup.   And West Virginia is in the Big 12.
GTFOH!    But this is crazy.    Why did they do all this?
Well, they claim stability, but it was their greed that created the instability in the first place.

Also in honor of Pope Leo,  I have no enemies.  I have brothers and sisters I sometimes disagree with.

It has all ruined college athletics as we knew it.  History, tradition, rivalry...all trashed.  F*ck everyone who had a hand in it.

My only hope is that the greed continues (which I think it will), and ultimately the "basketball schools" will become nice little revenue additions to a conference.

Might take a few years to get there, but I don't see athletic departments that have sacrificed everything for $ suddenly stopping.

Also, this has all of the makings of a bubble right? Universities keep dumping money into athletics like it's the Holy Grail. At some point, the money has to run out, right? ESPN 8 isn't going to pay that much for (insert athletic team here).

The Ocho? The Ocho's a powerhouse in broadcasting.

If Oxford had an (American) football team, would they already be in the Big 10? Maybe the Big East can be saved with them, U Madrid and the Sorbonne.
