Jamil with 19 and 7, also 3/4 from deep, seems he'd be the favorite.

Junior had 11 points, 6 assists, and 5 rebounds. All his points were in the second half and he iced the game at the line. 5 turnovers, however.

Gardner with 12 and 6, perhaps most impressive is 5 of those were defensive boards.

Jimmy Mac gives it to Jamil, FWIW.

Wilson had a terrific game throughout. Gardner was huge down the stretch.

Slight edge to Wilson.

Wilson.  I thought JC gave the ball away a bit too much and wasn't as crisp with his passes.

Bocephys

Jamil, he had some nice threes at key moments.

JWilson.   For this one game, he was the shooter and leader we were looking for.    BTW, I loved Vander's work on defense in a game where his shot wasn't falling (even though they were good looks).    That steal at midcourt might have been a game saver.

On top of Wilson's offensive performance, don't forget his D.  He must have blocked/altered about 6-7 shots in the game.

Jamil all the way.

Agree, but in these cases it's fun to see how many votes someone can roll up for a dominant outing.

I believe it was 1) J. Wilson, 2) Gardner and 3) Otule, which leads us back to the question on if we ever will see the two bigs on the court at once.  I am happy having fouls to give if we don't, but since I believed coming in that Gardner was our best player, it would sure be nice to see if we could have him out there for 25 or 30 minutes in a key game.
The www.valueaddsports.com analysis of basketball, football and baseball players are intended to neither be too hot or too cold - hundreds immerse themselves in studies of stats not of interest to broader fan bases (too hot), while others still insist on pure observation (too cold).

thing is the bigs do similar things offensively and defensively. they can't rotate as well as jamil or juan or taylor can on help and outside the paint, and they just clog each other up inside. I LOVE that we have 2 excellent 5s, but making them redundant does not help the team with their limited athleticism.

Easy choice of Jamil, who the last two games has played to his reputation.
