If anyone cared to see pics from Al's Run this past weekend .. there are some slaps of 5 pictures from the team.

And no, I have no idea why Chewbacca and Darth Vader were at MU.

And thanks to all the people who donated to Al's Run .. we hit $3,300 this year.

Nice pictures, thanks for sharing - what a great looking day in MKE...

Yeah, pretty sure Al arranges those beautiful days.  To my recollection, the past 8-10 years has been blue-sky, sunshine and balloons for the 17,000 people parade.

It's really an awesome event.  Love how MU participates, with the team, etc.

Pretty sure Crean busted out his haute coulture signature shades on one of those glorious sun filled Al's Run Saturdays.

It looks postcard picture perfect - and looks like a really awesome day.  I don't recall this event going through campus in my time from 1992-1997 - did it go through campus back then or was it only held along the lakefront?  Any idea?

Otule's Glass Eye

First look at the new guys (Lockett, freshman, walk-ons) in MU gear for me. Season getting closer...

Best part of Al's run for us was finishing up at Summerfest, and re-hydrating with some of Milwaukee's finest ales and brews after running 5 miles!

+1

And it is a bit cheaper as few are needed after a long run on a hot day!

One last plug - I know the race is over and we exceeded our second goal, but you can still donate, and we'll keep the racking graphic and "Donate here!" up for a couple more days.

Thanks again to all that contributed, I'm proud that we've raised so much money for Children's hospital.
