I'm finally moving out of my parents basement and was packing up this weekend. I came across a Marquette Starter Jacket. I'm too fat to fit into it now, and I'm looking for a buyer. I simply googled "Marquette Starter Jacket" and it was like fate brought us together.

There is a lot of sentimental value between me and this jacket. I couldn't part with it for any less than $120. Please respond if you are still interested. I think this could be a win win situation.

Starter was founded and located in New Haven until they went of business.  They used to have a tent sale every year where they cleared out samples and old inventory.  I bought a "Cleveland Indians World Series Champions" t-shirt there.  (Was too funny to pass up.)

There is still advertisements for Starter behind home plate at the new Yankee Stadium; I could be wrong, but I don't think they're out of business.

Here's the Wikipedia link.  They've been bought and sold a few times, but they haven't been an "actual" company since 1999.  They've been more a logo owned by someone else.

Ari Gold

got an ND starter has a hand me down with a Giant fighting leprechaun on the back. Also rocked a 49ers one sometime following their superbowl in 1994

Their used to be a Starter outlet store at the Prime Outlets or whatever it's called these days.  I loved that place.

Also, I used to know of a website that would make customer starter jackets... can't find it anymore though.

I remember a buddy on my floor with the royal blue, gold, and white Starter one. But that was back in 1993 and it had the awesomely iconic Warriors logo.

But they did make one later. Not Starter, but Majestic.
