Last night i saw Vander with Juan Anderson and I was hopeful that Juan may have put some muscle on his body over the summer, but unfortunately that didn't appear to be the case. (He was wearing a wife beater)

Also De'De' was at Sobelmans, he did appear to be more lean which i found surprising after his extended time off and injury from last year.

In other news......

“I think everyone should go to college and get a degree and then spend six months as a bartender and six months as a cabdriver. Then they would really be educated.”

I'd have to think Juan's shoulder issue largely has prevented him from doing much upper body weight lifting...
"I'm not sure Cadougan would fix the problems on this team. I'm not even convinced he would be better for this team than DeWil is."

+1

How is a guy that had shoulder surgery supposed to beef up?

Good point, completely forgot.

I thought you were going to say that you found it surprising because he was at Sobelmans.

I asked Juan at the BBQ how the shoulder was and he said he was progressing faster than expected, then he swung his
arm up in the air and said he had no pain, just some stiffness. He looked good but I think he could put on at least
10-15 lbs to bulk up.
