Sorry if this was posted before, but where do you guys have Crowder & DJO rated?  Anyone rated lower then either of them taken yet?

I'll bump this as a recommendation to follow along with if you don't want to watch TV all night.  Bama and Sugar are doing a nice job.

Well, John's doing all of the blog updates.  I just worked on the model with him.

Having said all that, I don't have the need to be nearly as nice as John is being on the blog.

The Barnes and Rivers picks are terrible picks.

I like the Henson pick by the Bucks.  Compared to our pool of NBA players (all stars through bench players), Henson is in the 92nd percentile for defensive rebounding.  He's in the 66th percentile for Position Adjusted Win Score (good).  Red flags on him are that he's in the bottom 10% on both Senior Value Add and Steals.

I hate, hate, hate, hate, hate the Bulls draft pick of Teague.  On our metrics, he shows up on the bottom 25% on every single category.  what the f*ck.

I'm always too nice, so thanks for Bad Coping with it :-)

Some really bad picks again.  Sorry never had time to check responses with trying to keep up the feed despite less than friendly internet connection within the cement of the Prudential Center.  It was a lot of fun.  Bottom line we had Jae very high, and DJO not quite making it, so didn't want to put that out there before the draft since we all know the subjective reasons we love DJO.

A great night.

No problem on cutting the feed - I was more worried it would show up as 100 different posts and tick everyone off.
The www.valueaddsports.com analysis of basketball, football and baseball players are intended to neither be too hot or too cold - hundreds immerse themselves in studies of stats not of interest to broader fan bases (too hot), while others still insist on pure observation (too cold).

Indeed.  Amazing really.  2 and 3 years ago when those guys were showing up on campus, NOBODY was talking about them going to the NBA - other than maybe their families and teammates dreaming.  Now they're living their dream, largely because of their own efforts, but in no small part because of Buzz's guidance.

And bravo with the blog updates from a mobile device, I would have called it quits after a couple sentences

How many dudes did Crean get drafted this year with, you know, all his NBA connections, and such?

I think Henson will have a nice, long career in the NBA but will likely never make an all-star team.  His upside is probably Serge Ibaka.

Hey and the good news is that Doron Lamb is finally playing home games in the BC right???

brewcity77

Hey bama, how about a list of the top 20-30 guys that didn't get drafted? I realize it may not be MU related since Jae and DJO got drafted, but I'd be curious to see who was just on the outside looking in.

Agreed on Henson.  He'll help Milwaukee win games and will be somewhat under appreciated (IMO).

I also do not like the Doron Lamb selection.

Pretty sure it was Jeremy not Doron Lamb that we passed on. Or am I misreading your reference?

Thanks, we have to hold onto that until after camps.

We did have one guy projected as an NBA starter who was NOT drafted, and then there were another four who looked like they could be NBA reserves and weren't picked.

Thanks Rocky - actually it was from a widescreen computer so I could see Rob's columns for each player.  If you look at the photo of my seat on the bottom, I was more scared to death of the computer tumbling out of my hands and 1000 feet to it's death.  Man, that's a steep seating set up and I really was a LONG way from the floor and even further from the stage, but still a ton of energy.
