48.  New York Knicks - Jae Crowder SF Marquette
With Mike Woodson running the show instead of Mike D'Antoni, expect the Knicks to be looking for a different sort of player in the second round. Crowder doesn't really have a position in the NBA, but he's tough and physical, and he can rebound.

53.  Los Angeles Clippers - Darius Johnson-Odom SF Marquette
Odom is undersized for his position, but he's strong and athletic and can really shoot the basketball. The Clippers need all the help they can get at the 2, and Johnson-Odom can come in and play right away.

DJO listed as SF, but I'm sure that's just a typo.

Fixed!
You actually have a degree from Marquette?

No...and after reading many many psosts from people on this board that do...I have to say I'm MUCH better off, if this is the type of "intelligence" a degree from MU gets you. It sure is on full display I will say that.

I know I'm a homer but I think DJO is a steal at 53. Not saying he'll be a great NBA player but I think he'll fill a great roll off the bench. Not many shooters that have a 40 inch vertical, strength and athleticism to play both ends of the court.

I'm waiting for mock draft version 27 before getting too excited.

I'm just waiting for Real Draft Version 1

Ford must be studying NBADraft.net because he seems to change his mocks to nearly replicate theirs.

I predict DJO gets drafted before Crowder.

This makes sense, no change of position for DJO.

This makes sense, no change of position.

Yet still no real position per se given his size.

CTWarrior

Version 10.0 (and last, I imagine), is out now.  He now has the Knicks taking Texas A & M's Khris Middleton (whose mother must've had the same spelling teacher as Dwyane Wade's mother or the Kardashians) at 48.

53. Los Angeles Clippers - Darius Johnson-Odom | SF | Marquette
Odom is undersized for his position, but he's strong and athletic and can really shoot the basketball. The Clippers need all the help they can get at the 2, and Johnson-Odom can come in and play right away.

56. Toronto Raptors (via Indiana) - Jae Crowder | SF | Marquette
Crowder is a tough, physical player who doesn't have a position but could provide some real toughness for the Raptors.

Remember everyone, we are rooting for non-European players in the second round.

Each Euro guy taken is stashed overseas for a few years, thus the appeal, but unfortunately leaves one less spot for DJO and Crowder to be drafted.

Chad Ford stated that there may be only one European player chosen in this years draft. All of the young European players have been chosen in years past and there rights are owned by NBA teams already.
