On a related note, Jeff Goodman has DJO going to the Bucks at #42 and Crowder going #54 to Philly.

Sort of like a poor man's Monta Ellis eh?

MarsupialMadness

FWIW, Jae was drafted #33 by the CPU in my NBA 2K12 franchise.  I took DJO with the 40th overall.

What a ridiculous column.  A bunch of the guys listed might be lottery picks.

Yeah, really under the radar... maybe if you live under a rock.

The article is about guys who were "under the radar" coming out of high school

Jae getting drafted before Kevin Jones?  Oh man, those WVU fans aren't going to like this!

Suspect Jones, unfortunately, will probably go ahead of Jae... :(

Sofas and couches across the greater Morgantown region certainly hope so.

The Process

On the topic of "under the radar," NBC Sports has "Five NBA Draft Sleepers to Watch:"

Darius Johnson-Odom (6'2" shooting guard, Marquette): He can flat out shoot the rock, and at the end of the day that is still the name of the game. He showed pretty well at the Nets combine workout, according to reports. He's undersized for the two in the NBA (and he's not a point guard) but he is strong and defends hard. He'll be a catch-and-shoot guy in the league, but he can do a lot of damage that way.
Relax. Respect the Process.

MerrittsMustache

Nice analysis from NBA scouts via Seth Davis.

Jae Crowder, 6-6 guard, Marquette: "Size is an issue because he measured small in Chicago, but he just does enough things well. High motor, high energy, rebounds. For a mid-second-round guy, he's not bad. I don't know quite what his NBA skill is other than he plays hard."

Darius Johnson-Odom, 6-3 guard, Marquette: "He's a killer. I like him. He's going to will himself into our league. He can score, he can guard, and he'll make your practices better."
