Great article on Wade
« on: June 21, 2012, 08:32:11 AM »
Many didn't know the drama that was surrounding the Wade family this past weekend.  Crazy story.

Gregg Doyel has been tough on Wade (I posted the article he penned last week talking about Wade as a diva), so I was glad to see him print a different side of Wade.  Honestly, it's a side that a lot of us already knew existed.  Great to see others take note of Dwyane does for the community.

Love how his boy is rocking the Jordan gear

"Wade's not kidding about helping others. You know how some guys talk the talk? Wade walks the walk. He has the foundations and the outreach programs for kids that lots of rich athletes have -- and that's great, really it is -- but he gets involved at the most personal level, too. A few years ago he read a story about a boy in South Florida who accidentally burned down his aunt's home before Christmas, so Wade bought the family some furniture, some clothes, even some gifts so they would have presents to open on Christmas morning.

Then he bought them a house, too."

Its things like this that make Dwyane my favorite player ever.

It's things like this that continually make me say that there's nothing (outside of murder) that DWade could do to put him in a bad light in my eyes.

Incredible representative of our University and Basketball program.  I would love to see him have a huge game tonight, as the Heat win the title.

Same here. I would vote for Wade for president as well. Hope he runs someday.

I hope he blows the doors off it in Game 5, wins another ring and then celebrates with his boys.

I know people don't like the perceived on court whining but he continues to be the greatest warrior our proud program has ever produced.

Agree 100%, and when his game is on, there's no one I'd rather watch.

Thanks for posting - great article.  I shamelessly root for the Heat only because of him and he will always be my #1 favorite athlete (or at least until DJO wins a NBA scoring title).

Wow, talk about b*tches being crazy.....

And that b*tch who is actin' crazy is a Marquette grad (actually...don't know if Siovaughn graduated or not - probably not, as I guess she left when Dwyane left).

I still don't know the entire back story on her.  When did she get all crazy?  I assume it's after Dwyane left her.
