Someone from the insider board over at scout that saw him play this week against the team and some alums (who all play professionally). Said he was very active and scored a fair amount.

Read that as well, but it's worth noting that Junior Cadougan, prior to last year, said Jamail Jones was the best shooter in pre-season open gyms.

1.   How do the minutes at the 5 shake out: I see a 25-15 split for Gardner/Otule, with offense for defense happening the last five minutes of the game. Matchups, of course, play a part, but it's Gardner's show inside. Who knows if Otule will be the same, even if healthy.
2.   What will the impact of Lockett be?    Starter from day 1?   More of a 3 than a 2?: Definitely more of a 3 than a 2, and I think he will start from Day 1. 13-14 points per game would be great, 11 would be expected with such a deep back court.
3.   Which newcomer (not named Lockett) will have the biggest impact? All aboard the Steve Taylor train.
4.    Which returning player makes the most progress? Would have said Juan Anderson before the shoulder, so now I'll say Cadougan. A senior PG can do some magical things. The jump he made from last year to this was incredible, and I think he continues into his final year at MU.
5.   Who will take the last shot?  Jamil Wilson. It's his team.  Who will want to take the last shot?  Mayo, Jamil and Cadougan.
6.    Will DWilson take any shot? He has the talent, but I see his role being similar to last year. And that's not a bad thing at all.
7.   Will Buzz fill the last schollie for 12-13 or bank it?    Or does Buzz let Jake Thomas have it again? Banked. Keep it in case of a mid-season transfer, so not to Thomas.
