Growing up in an area where people taking about "pro basketball" meant the ABA, I recall watching numerous games as child with the indiana Pacers playing the evil Kentucky Colonels led by Artis Gilmore.  It was as free wheeling as the JU team was described in this article.  Lots of fun to watch.
