Anyone who doesn't think we're on the cusp of a second golden age of Warrior basketball has been living with his or her head in the sand.

I realize we're in the NCAAs and doing well, so the press will be there. But the Murray State game was a defining moment for Buzz. That game was slipping away from us at the 8:00 minute mark remaining in the second half. Murray State was hot and things were going their way. I though for sure were were going to lose to an OVC team. Yeah... an OVC team. That would have been more than this old Warrior could take and would rank up there with losing to Miami of Ohio (although this Murray State team is MUCH better than that Miami of Ohio team -- yeah, old time Warriors... that Miami of Ohio)

Buzz is up, wants time out and 1:35 of playing time later, Murray State's season is effectively over. I don't know what was said or done in the huddle (yet), but something changed because Marquette came out looking like an Al team. Firey, opportunistic and passionate! We played our "A" game and Murray State was vanquished. Everything about that game from the bench was masterful.

Here's hoping we get past a really nasty Gator this Thursday -- and Sparty can be had! But if I had doubts Buzz (and I did!), they're gone now. This is quite a coaching job.

Agree.  Things are only going to get better if we can just keep doing what we are doing.....Thursday and beyond this season as well.
