Rece Davis, Andy Katz, Jason King, Myron Medcalf, and Miles Simon all have picked Marquette to win the Big East Tournament.

to compare, only 4 experts picked Cuse with one voting for Gtown.

How can that be?  West Virginia leads the Big East in all statistical categories!!!

Wow, I'm very concerned for Benny.  Being able to mimic Myron Medcalf's writing so closely implies an oncoming case of dementia.

WVU STILL thinks they should be given the trophy.

Can't remember who, but I read a guy who had like his own pick, dark horse, and maybe game to watch or something on si.com and whoever it was picked Marquette based on the easier path to the championship.  Said Louisville was the dark horse, though...

While we're dissing WVU, I saw an interview with their AD right after the cost to leave the Big East was settled.  Their AD talked about all the WVU alumni in Washington DC and the east coast and how they developed great rivaliries that they were counting on contining after their move to the Big XII, so their alums could still see them play.  With the way they left, will any Big East teams really schedule them?

I've a feeling it may go the way of the KU/Mizzou rivalry. I have a lot of friends that went to KU here in Denver and they've all basically shunned Mizzou since their last meeting a few weeks ago.

Mizzou wanted to move on so KU is forcing them. I hope the rest of the Big East does the same for WVU.

KU's President has said KU will not schedule Mizzou in any sport.  It will be interesting to see both how long they hold that stance and if it means competing in the same meets.  If Mizzou puts it on the schedule, does that mean KU needs to take it off theirs?

I like the vindictiveness of KU, but the difficulty for the Big East in implementing the same policy is that you need to get everyone to buy in for it to be actually effective.
