It is time for the NCAA to stop all this fouling at the end of games.  There has to be a new rule when teams are up a certain amount as all these games are getting
ridiculous within the last few minutes.  The other area that has to be changed is the charging rule. Time to get this out of the game.  If a player is beat let the player
score, it would become really exciting then.  It would take the whistle out of the refs hands.  Tonight there was charges called that were not charges and charges that
were, not called.  I believe there was 3 to 4 non-calls.  The scores are getting lower and lower, lets open up the lane.  Low scoring games like I saw tonight in the Big Ten
were ridiculous, need to lower the shot clock to 30 seconds.  Of course, Bo Ryan team scored 50 tonight so I should be happy.  What does everybody think of some changes
in the game?

I watched the same ILL-MSU game    20-22 at the half, i think
the one half time stat I do remember well was a combined 34 missed shots . terrible thing to watch waiting for the MU game to start

I agree, charging has to be removed.  The ref are not consistent and never will be.  Also, Duke may never win another game. College refs need to stop calling so many fouls, especially on the stars of each team.  The players should decide the outcome of the game not whistle happy refs.

I disagree with eliminating the player control foul.  They did add the circle under the basket this year.  They could extend the circle to what the NBA has but eliminating the player control foul entirely would get ugly.

High School and AAU coaches need to stress the importance of a mid-range game.  It seems that young players are working on their three point shots before they can consistently hit a short jumper.

Being able to pull-up from 12-15 feet and consistently nail a short jumper would force defenses out which would open up the lane.

As to eliminating fouls, it should not be eliminated.  They could, however, be a little more liberal with the intentional foul call in that situation.
