There was definitely a sense of relief when I saw that MU will be playing at Wells Fargo Center rather than at the Pavilion this Saturday. There's something about that place (the Pavilion) that makes it seem nearly impossible to get out of there with a W. I think it's the fact that the fans are so close to the court and they're all crammed in there. It makes for a very loud/intimidating environment. Admittedly, Nova is pretty bad this year so it may not make a difference, but every bit helps when you're on the road in the BEast.

I wouldn't write Nova off...seem to be coming together the last few games, plus they'll have had a week to prepare for us. That said, it is a relief to be playing them at the Wells Fargo Center and not the Pavilion. Hopefully the team can pick up another road win.

Lost at that bandbox campus gym in '09 after losing the first BEast game of the season in Tampa just a few days earlier.  My first and only time in Florida.  I blame it on myself.

They play at Louisville tomorrow, so they have less time to prepare than we do.

I agree though, they have played a bit better of late and we only beat them by 4 at the BC on new year's day.  I'll be happy with a one point win then get back on the private jet to prep for Seton Hall.
