The commentators were very positive of the 35th anniversary festivities at Saturday's game.  Unfortunately, they showed about a 15 second clip of it on ESPNU.

Does anyone know of a link on line that shows the entire ceremony?

No idea, but I was a bit disappointed that we didn't get a new "Titans" video at the outset. I had hoped this year they would add a new one before the MSM game, then thought "well, maybe on New Year's as Big East play starts", then "okay, maybe at the 95th anniversary with a hundred former players in attendance", now I'm hoping we see a new one next year when we play West Eastern State. Of course, by then, we'll probably be wondering why DJO and Crowder didn't make the cut...just like we're wondering why McIlvaine still doesn't have his name listed on there.

I don't think they were listing the "best" player or players from each era on the video, do you?  It almost seems just kind of random using a name or two fom the "top ten" of each era.

The festivities were really neat.  Hopefully as Buzz continues to reach out to get the former alumni more in touch, more alumni will show up.  There were many comments like why didn't "x" show up, etc. "let's call x next time."....

Can someone post a listing of who did show? I'm assuming MU ponies up for their travel, meals, and housing, aina? Any other activities planned for the weekend?

Did Vander & Jae give high-fives to the alums?

PS - I've changed my mind on the 2:30pm CT game time tomorrow being a great idea.  MU hates the working class.

They are not adding Jimmy to the video.

Personally I'd like to see a video clip of him with no name displayed.  Similar to Robert Jackson.

I'm not sure the criteria, but as I recall, the 80s and 90s have plenty of highlights but few players mentoned. Doc I believe is the only guy from the 80s and Roney Eford the only one from the 90s. Contrast to the 00s that include Wade, Novak, Diener, Jerel, McNeal, WesMat, and Lazar. Where's the love for Hutch, Tony Smith, Mac, McCaskill, or Wardle?

Tony Smith is mentioned in the 80s.

Apparently Marquette Athletics doesn't think Jimmy had a good enough career.

Sounds like JUCO hate more than anything else.

No respect, those same people would have struggled selling tickets if it weren't for JFB.

There was a struggle to sell last year. And it seems to have continued this year.

Need more then Butler.

Could you imagine if there wasn't Jimmy though? Ya know, a NBA first rounder?

He might have been the only player worth mentioning from the 80's.    Kidding.   During one of the shots of the basketball alumni, I noticed that Tom Copa has not really changed his hairstyle since 1987.    I, of course, am jealous that he still has hair.
Luke 6:45   ...A good man produces goodness from the good in his heart; an evil man produces evil out of his store of evil.   Each man speaks from his heart's abundance...

It is better to be fearless and cheerful than cheerless and fearful.

Not being at the game, I didn't get to see the video, I would have loved to have had the chance.
For some reason, I don't think MU picked the time of the game tomorrow, I think it comes out of the  Big East and television, so I wouldn't be mad at the university, unless someone has info that I missed that it was Marquette's call.
