As a Marquette fan, the last two games have been hard/frustrating to watch at times. That said, at least we are done with our mini gauntlet for the year. Outside of Syracuse and Georgetown the rest of the Big East doesn't look that intimidating as everyone has some serious issues/weaknesses. If this team can build off of this week, the rest of the season will be fine (meaning 10+ wins is very possible). If this team fails to learn the lessons from this past week, it's going to be a VERY VERY long season.

I think we've played our two toughest games of the year this week.  But, I'm also starting to think there is a lot more parity in the Big East than in most years.  Villanova could be the worst team in the conference and we only beat them by 4 at home.  I don't think anyone is going to be scared of us and I'm more worried about DePaul, Providence, Seton Hall, Rutgers and South Florida than usual.

+1
Hopefully we can take care of business at home this week and get back on track.

The good Big East had sometimes 5 games in a row type gauntlet.  With the league in the state it is in this year, those types of stretches do not exist any longer.  That bodes well for us.  We will be fine because Pitt isn't Pitt, Nova isn't Nova, ND isn't ND, SJU isn't SJU this year.  Providence and the Hall are better.  Rutgers has been all over the board.  WVU seems to finally be getting Huggins messages.  The Mountaineers looks like a tough game now.

Couldn't agree with this thread more.  I love our chances to go 7-0 in our next 7 games.

LET'S GET BACK ON THE RIGHT TRACK!!!

Time to have real home court advantage for once.  We need to to sweep this homestand.
