Gotta be DJO. Carried us through the first half, hit his threes, and chipped in with 6 boards and 3 assists.

Honorable mention to Gardner, but fouling out and not being available at the end tips it in DJO's favor.

DJO fouling out in the second half might have improved MU's chances.
You actually have a degree from Marquette?

No...and after reading many many psosts from people on this board that do...I have to say I'm MUCH better off, if this is the type of "intelligence" a degree from MU gets you. It sure is on full display I will say that.

I'm going with Ox.  Sure DJO hit a bunch of shots, especially in the first half.  But a double - double from the big fella was huge.  I remember 3-4 put backs on misses where he grabbed the O rebound and put the ball in the hole.  Those two quick fouls in the second half could have been due to fatigue when he reached rather than moved his feet.  It that's true, Buzz needed to get him out for a rest.  If Davante plays that well every game, we'll be successful this year.

The obvious answer is DJO. Davante had the best game of his career. However, I believe the player of the game was Crowder. We had 10 point lead when he went out with 8 minutes to go in first half with 2 fouls. Without him the lead got down to one before we scored on our last possession of the half. He quickly scored 7 points at the beginning of the second half and blocked two shots on the other end. What was a close game turned back into a double digit lead. Essentially with Crowder was on the floor we were the better team. When he was not on the floor Villanova was the better team.

DJO followed by DG.

DG. His best line ever, but more importantly, a lot of needed put backs.

Stud of the game was Coach Williams for having figured out the proper rotation for a Otule-less Warrior team. It would appear that Coach Williams has re-fit the team pieces at the right moment and that there is now the sort of flow that existed when Otule was available. One need simply look at the production of the Wilson/Gardner sharing the "5" slot.

Interesting comment.  MU really dominated the game in both halves, but closed out poorly in each.  Crowder was on the bench for the bulk of both runs.  It would be interesting to see the +/- when Crowder was on the floor.  Likely pretty in the 15+ range.

I'm glad we're voting....
All this talk of rights.  So little talk of responsibilities.
