For a career game Tate Unruh - previous career high 15 pts, season ave of 11.6, 41% 3 shooter - today 7 of 7 from 3 and 25 pts with 4 mins to go.

Continues a long track of no names going off on Marquette from 3.

Thank goodness or No Colo needs to throw in a white flag and we are missing our leading scorer.
You heard it here first. Davante Gardner will be a Beast this year.

Wide open 3's for the guy.  No adjustment was made until 10 minute mark, then he was done.

Beside open 3's and inbound play defense, all else was fine.

Norm

The kid can play....double digit scoring in all but two games for N. Colorado this year.

Pomeroy had him ranked as one of the top offensive players and shooters in the country coming in.  Was hitting 94% from line and 43% from behind the arc coming into the game and the team has scored 112.7 points per 100 times the play goes through him (100 is average).

We may get a couple of games like that out of Jake Thomas next year.
The www.valueaddsports.com analysis of basketball, football and baseball players are intended to neither be too hot or too cold - hundreds immerse themselves in studies of stats not of interest to broader fan bases (too hot), while others still insist on pure observation (too cold).

MUMac

I watched him warm up before the game.  Nice stroke, missed everything.  The horn sounds and he hits everything.  Some were tough shots, some were poor defense.  Can't complain, shut down their top scorer.

Skatastrophy

A couple years ago that guy was Jake Thomas.  See if his parents make good money and turn him into an xfer walkon.

I sure hope you're right, but I am doubtful. A 25 point game from Jake Thomas vs. a top 15 ranked team next year?! Pass me what you're smoking brother......
