He got about $1.7 or 1.8M, two year contract guaranteed.  Just getting the next contract is very important, normally a three year deal

Lazar got a 2-year contract at first, and Minnesota exercised the option for the third year this past summer. Made just over $1M last year, would have made just under $1.1M this year, but I'm not sure if/how the lockout affects that. Slated for $1.17 next year, followed by a club option at $2.12 for the 13-14 season.

According to the article, he's the 11th man right now. Given the condensed schedule, he may get more opportunities than an 11th man in most seasons though.
