The kid went to 5 high schools and is now transferring after 1 semester. Not interested. Besides, most schools don't allow kids to transfer within the conference.

This will be a mess. Pitt hasn't released him to transfer yet, which may force him to pay his own way including an international tuition fee. The school he goes to also has to get him a form I-20 to allow him back into the country. Also, I'm sure Pitt will block any transfer to the Big East or ACC.

Apparently he had an emotional blowup with Dixon on his way out...don't think Birch is leaving with many friends in Pittsburgh.
