Not taking anything away from the win at all, but I guess we will see what beckys record is at the end of the year. Reading some some of the posts earlier in the week about how "athletic"  Wisconsin is and how they are "damn good", you would think they were the best team in the last 10 years. I just don't see it.

exactly, that's the sour with our sweet tea. The more the wins the badgers grind out, the better our W is both numerically in the computer formulas and in the 'smell test' kind of category. As much as we want badger losses, we kind of have to want badger wins too. (GAH, I can't believe I typed that... ugh)

Did it ever occur to you that Marquette is really good? When you say that "Bucky's really not good" you diminish Marquette's accomplishment today. By doing so you are unintentionally insulting your own team.

Relax no one is diminishing anything.  Mu barely survived against Norfolk, does that make norfolk at the same level as mu? the nc wi game was one game lets see how the season plays out.

Wi is obviously good and tough to beat at home. The point I was making is they aren't as good as some were making them out to be and not a top 10 team. Some on this board were saying how wi is more athletic and quicker than mu. Did you see that today, i sure in the hell didn't.

UW is not a "bad" team, no doubt.  But they are also not an elite, top 10-15 team, either.    I'd guess they finish in the 25-35 range.

Agreed.  Overrated at (and up to) this point, but will still compete for 2nd in the Big Ten.  I also think the Big Ten is overrated as a whole, and it doesn't help that they dominated the Big Ten/ACC Challenge, mainly because the ACC is an awful basketball conference.
