Not Carson Desrosiers. I'm watching that traditional dude in person right now... Good game, but he's got a ways to go

That Quincy Miller kid at Baylor isn't too bad.

Hopefully this doesn't open up a huge can of worms...but I was really impressed with what I saw of DJ Newbill last year...think he'll end up being a very good college player..

We'll see. Nothing against DJ, but I think transferring to PSU is looking like a poorer decision every day. No way he could have predicted the Sandusky situation, but that entire school has a huge black eye right now. And who knows how they'll be going forward under Pat Chambers.

I really don't think he could have made a much worse decision than leaving Southern Miss for PSU. It was a bad decision at the time, and the clearer the hindsight becomes, the worse it looks.

I have to disagree. They've started the year off pretty well under the new guy, even beating a team from our mighty conference. He's a Penn kid so its somewhat of a homecoming. And, most importantly, his competition night in and night out will be much better then he'd get in Conference USA. That alone shows the ambition he has to be a better player.

By all accounts, I think it was a great move for him. He was dealt a setback and went backwards to go forwards. A fine lesson in maturity.

T J Taylor and Jamil Wilson, because they corrected their mistake.

so is there an answer to this or is it just a poll to see who everyone thinks is having the most productive college career?

Yes, and yes.
You actually have a degree from Marquette?

No...and after reading many many psosts from people on this board that do...I have to say I'm MUCH better off, if this is the type of "intelligence" a degree from MU gets you. It sure is on full display I will say that.

Many would argue MU has a black eye right now as well.  Not to the same degree, but a black eye anyway.  Similar rival schools calling Penn State child molesters are calling our university the home of rapists.  Check out some of the forums of Big East and Big Ten schools about our situation.  Is it fair for us or Penn State?

Newbill went to play back home and will be in a power conference in the Big Ten.  He will play against better competition and become a better player.  Southern Miss is a long way from Philadelphia both in miles and in culture.  A number of reasons could have triggered his transfer.
