Best place in Milwaukee to watch the game Saturday
« on: December 01, 2011, 02:07:41 PM »
Trying to find the place that will have the best atmosphere and the least amount of Badgers fans on Saturday. Tried reading some reviews online, but apparently, the only people that write reviews are convinced they just visited the worst bar of all time. So, I'm trying to get some non cynical advice on this.

I'm thinking Center Court or Replay, what are you thinking?

The Gym....shoot, closed.

Haggerty's.....nope, where'd my mug go?!!!

Good Time Charlies.....where'd that parking lot come from?

The Circle...at least they got good gyros.....another parking lot?

Hopefully, the Midget Bar is still open!

If you're not looking for a campus bar the Marquette University Young Alumni Association (MUYAA) is having a viewing party at Replay Sports Bar (2238 North Farwell Avenue).  We have the entire back room to ourselves and last I heard we'll have some MU swag to give away as well.  Hope you guys and gals can make it!

Drink Specials:
$5 domestic liters
$2 PBR Tallboys
$3 short rails
$7 long island liters

Looks like the alumni association is throwing a party at Karma Bar with free food and drink specials.  That's where the wife and I are headed with a bunch of friends :)

I've got a better idea.

GO TO THE GAME!

Find a couple of buddies.
Pick up some tickets on Stub Hub or outside the Kohl Center.
Get a room on Hotwire for $54 at the Hilton Monona Terrace.
Watch the football game at a State Street bar.
Have a great night, and do something really nice for your wife when you return. (And, if you are lucky enough to be single, you have no excuse for not being in Madison on Saturday.)

It's not that hard.  Let's go MU fans.

You're either still a student, or you haven't been to those bars in a very long time. They are no place for a grown man to hang out.
