Matt Norlander of CBS Sports put together this interactive infographic about the strength of schedules for most college bball teams. Pretty interesting stuff. I might spend all night on this thing.

This reinforces the fact that Marquette did a great job scheduling this year. We've got one of the toughest schedules compared to other Big East schools.

This supports the comments in another thread with the hoya fan.  Comparing the two schedules, the Hoyas play 1 true road game, 2 BCS Teams, 2 tournament teams, and 2 teams with single digits in '11.  MU has 2 true road games, 4 BCS Teams, 4 tournament teams and no team with single digits in '11.

In addition, MU plays 5 20 win teams versus 2 for Georgetown.

Not trying to change the thread, but I did find it interesting the validate what some of us said in that thread.

Compared to the other conference teams, MU fares very well in all categories.  The only school that does not have a single digit team on it's schedule.

I agree with the comment above, props to Buzz and MU for putting together this non-conference schedule.

....assuming we win some of these road games, tourney games, games against BCS schools.

No assumption needed.  It is still a very good schedule.  Will help MU during the season.
