I think it's pretty impressive that Reddick took Italian in anticipation of continuing his career in Europe...that kid has a good head on his shoulders...almost makes you happier for him that it did work out.

Probably just learning the language so he can pick up more dudes.

If you look at other years.. let's say 2003 as an example, there is a substantially higher number of good NBA guys coming from that group.  Although there are busts as well (i.e., Becky's Brian Butch).

The article also reinforces Buzz's recruiting style as well as what Shavlik Randolph mentioned: guys with chips on their shoulders will work harder because they have something to prove.
