for the UK job? Just a hunch based on absolutely nothing that Kentucky comes courting Bruce.

You never know, but it seems hard to believe that Pearl would move to a fellow SEC member after only two years on the job at TN.  At this point in time, the TN job probably has as much potential as UK (other than perhaps $$$$).  Plus Pearl has re-awakerned a sleeping giant and bringing back the Bernie and Ernie days.  TN football also is far better.  Why move other than some extra $$$.

Just an assessment from a pretty good # of people I know in Kentucky, but I'd say the top 2 options right now are Donovan and Calipari.

Same conference or not if Pearl is offered the Kentucky position he's gone.  That would be like (insert coach from Big East School here) being offered the position at UCONN or Syracuse, it's just too good to pass up.

I can't think of any head coach who has moved within the same confernce.  Seems to be an unwritten rule (although Tubby did go to UK from Georgia).  My guess is Calipari.  why in the world would Donovan move when he has Florida as an elite program now.  Remember Calipari took his staff with him to look at NC State last spring.  I'm sure he would love to get out of the C-USA.

UK has done this before.......look no further than hiring Tubby Smith away from Georgia

Ah, NY Warrior, I was just modifying my post for just that.  I guess UK might be different.  But, I would still say that Donovan will stay at Fla.
