Tom Crean's Tanning Bed

So remember how Syracuse typically doesn't leave the state of NY for a game until their first Big East road game in early January since they'll usually play a bunch of games at the Garden besides campus?  And 'Cuse will typically lose that game too.

Well, we could have that come into play a little bit tmrw with UNC.  Since February 13th (the day after they traveled to Clemson), UNC has only played one game outside of the state, on March 2nd at FSU (which they had to come from behind and win by 2).

Other than FSU, the only other road game UNC has played in that span was in Raleigh (35 miles) vs. NC State.  The only time UNC has had to likely sleep outside of their own beds since February 13th besides 1 night in Tallahassee was this past weekend in Charlotte (140 miles).  Even Greensboro for the ACC tournament was 53 miles from campus.

MU during that time had to travel to DC (Georgetown), Hartford (UConn), Newark (Seton Hall), New York (Big East Tournament), and Cleveland (NCAA Tournament).  So if anything, MU is used to this at this point, and it should be interesting to see how UNC responds to having to play in a truly neutral court environment with a lot of expectations upon them.

Come on Newark, please make sure that it's not a neutral court environment.  Cheer for the underdog!  Hopefully you'll follow the lead of all those basketball fans that made the Honda Center sound like the McKale Center West.

Go Warriors!
Never wrestle with a pig.  You both get dirty, and the pig likes it.

Ohio St. and Kentucky fans will be "cheering" for us too lol.

Go Warriors!

Other than UNC, Becky, and possibly the Doomers, (and possibly the tanned one) I think the entire country is cheering for us.

I thought it was great the FINALLY Duke got sent out of North Carolina/southeast region during the NCAA tourney.

So many years they get to play in their backyard throughout..not this year..they got sent West..and absolutely crumbled.

Well, they will be out of NC tonight. Sure hope they will be feeling the pain, and we will be administering it.

I thought you were dead. Willie lives rent free in Reekers mind. Rick Pitino: "You can either complain or adapt."

I really don't think the "leaving North Carolina" thing is that big of a deal.  They haven't played since early Sunday afternoon and have been in Newark since Tuesday (or Wednesday).  They're going to be just fine.

Well If you havent played a meaning full game in quite a while away from your own fans and state, it could be a factor.  Especially in the early going.  its not like they are playing a bunch of Juniors and Seniors with oodles of tournament experience.

Goose

Hopefully after tonight they back to NC until next November.
