Does it bother anyone else that the "gold" in our uniforms especially the "gold" uniforms is no where near the "gold" that fans wear in the stands?  The
"gold" that the fans wear is much closer to yellow orange than the much lighter "gold" seen on the players.  This really needs to be fixed.

No this does not bother me.
Farva:"Give me six Schlitzes."
O'Hagan: "Take it easy, Rod."
Farva: "Open bar, dude!"

I mean the badgers have badger red and you've got Michigan blue, why can't we make ours Marquette gold and standardize it for all Marquette apparel.

When we keep winning NCAA tournament games, I don't care what unis we're rocking, or if they match my decade old sweatshirt.  It's all good.

That bright canary yellow of the uniforms looks great on the court.  I would wear that color in the stands but it's not real easy to find.  I won't wear the pastel "HankRaymondsSweater yellow" that many of the older geezer fans wear (including my 71-year-old dad).  To me, though, that mixture of different yellows and golds looks pretty cool when the crowd is wearing whatever gold they've got.
The shaka sign, sometimes known as "hang loose", is a gesture of friendly intent often associated with Hawaii and surf culture.
