The blowout allowed 17:58 for Novak, a sniper on the Spurs' radar since leaving Marquette in 2006. At a rather legendary workout for the Spurs that summer, Novak buried 96 out of 100 in a 3-point drill, still a team pre-draft record.

It's great if he puts in 15, but not if he gives up 22.  Novak does one thing extraordinarily well (long-range shooting obviously), but the rest of his game is below average, some things way below average bording on awful, for NBA standards.
