Scrambled Eggs Savior Pronounciations.

Since it seems to grate their fans to no end...I am practicing saying "eggs savior" all this week.

On their board they tried to clarify by saying the X is silent..

If its silent wouldnt we say "A V er", ....defined as:
i)one who is in in charge of a bird refuge...ie aviary;or
 ii) the nerdy kid who delivered the AV equipment to your classroom.

Eggs Savior alums-- may I suggest an easier shortcut.

Why not just clarify to the world that the university's name actually came from the Spanish bandleader, who later married the cu chi cu chi girl Charo.....

Good point.  I think the founders just didn't know how to spell using the letter Z yet...Zavier.  It's not a silent X, it's just an X that should have been a Z.

Reminds me of Isaih Thomas introducing Bob Knight at an awards banquet and proceeding to tell the room of reporters that Knight used to call the players "Sunts, with a silent C." Knight's face was priceless!
