Yeah, school teachers in Wisc. do that, on the taxpayers dime. And then they get a phony Dr. excuse, and some take their students to the Capitol and sing anti Governor chants.

Ahh...the value of a public shool education in Wisc.

Of course it happened. But some other key facts about the situation are being left out.

Just sayin

Was at the Bucks game. As anyone who has ever attended a Bucks game this year knows... alcohol makes it more fun. Then went out and drank till the weeeee hours.

Added: I will be going out tonight as well.

Teachers cut class because didn't want to pay their fair share, blew off their job and responsibilities to educate children (actually what they're paying is still less than their fair share) Forced parents to take days off form their private sector jobs -who pay for the salaries of teachers- and take care of their kids

What's being left out?

You're an idiot.

Every day that those teachers didnt show up for school, and the schools were closed (less than 5 days, far less than some school district's amount of snow days!) will be made up... and guess what, the teachers will get paid their SALARY... the same SALARY that they would be paid if they had been there the whole year.

step outside the spin machine once in a while and pull out your common sense.

What is being left out is that the teachers agreed to all the financial terms except for the collective bargaining content of the bill.

But you seem to be ignoring that major fact.

Not that I'm surprised.

Teachers have a pretty sweet cadillac benefits deal going on relatively speaking and their union WEAC is too powerful but

much of society sucks and dumps their kids on these teachers who of course also lack motivation, are thugish, etc.   and they've got to be with these kids every week..they deserve more than some insurance salesman that's for sure.
