Was having a conversation with my roommate the other day he says Hansborough I say Walker for POY.

Who is right? I can't help but think that last BE game where ND beat UConn at UConn had something to do with the result....
Warrior in the class of 2011.

I'd vote for Kemba but I may be biased with my Notre Dame hate.

If we knew how the big east tournament was going to turn out, than yes, they definitely got it wrong, but no one has a crystal ball.  Hansborough deserves it for the regular big east season without a doubt, but kemba would get it if the big east tourny was taken into account

They did get it wrong.  I think even before the Big East tourney it was clear that Hansbrough, though unbelivably competitive, has some character issues.  He nearly cost his team a game versus UConn.  I think Hansbrough got it because of where Notre Dame finished in the Big East standings.

Walker is a better overall player.  And clearly the best player in the conference.

My guess is that UConn will go further in the NCAA tourney than Notre Dame.  And Walker will be the largest reason why.

The Big East tournament is so competive, I do not understand why they pick the poy and fist & second team players, etc before the tournament is played.
