and it said something about Lazar having an ankle injury?

Hayward, a freshman who just gained his eligibility earlier this month, left the game with about 9 minutes remaining, limping off the court with an apparent left ankle injury. He returned later.

Any news of whether he's had any post game effects or if this was a "walk it off" variety?
Once a warrior always a warrior.. even if the feathers must now come with a beak.

Well, since he returned to the game after if happend, I'm guessing it wasn't that bad  8)

well.. you can't base it on that.. the importance of the game and the fact that we really needed a boost at the end to seal the victory could have been enough that crean would have risked exacerbating lazar's injury....

LH came down hard getting a rebound in the second half.  It looked like he just rolled it.

After he came back in at 3:42 he had 2 steals, 3 points on 1-2 shooting.  Looks like it wasn't that bad.

He went down hard for a rebound .. I found it odd they didn't stop play, as he was down in a heap under the basket, but Detroit had the ball, went to the other basket .. ran 20+ seconds, shot, missed, rebound MU, then they came down the court and the refs stopped the game.

It's always strange when a guy goes down, it's obvious he's not getting back up .. and no one, no trainer, no ref, nobody goes to see him for 30-40 seconds.

I've been meaning to ask about the lack of PT for some of the bench -- especially since we were up 38 with under 8 minutes to go.  For example, Kinsella only saw action in the 2 and a half minutes or so.   ???
