Switchables and the MU offense

Much mocking is done about Buzz's desire to recruit switchables.   Much is made about our offense dry patches and our defensive liabilities.   So this is my attempt, if I understand Buzz correctly, to tie it all together.
     Last year, we saw what a truly switchable offense is.   We had 5 guys on the floor who could get into the lane off of the dribble, pass, and shoot the 3, or continue to cycle until somebody got a wide open shot.   This year, the ball movement is less efficient.   Crowder isn't Lazar.   DB is not MO/Cubi.   Cadougan can't hit the three like Mo and Cubi.   DJO isn't catching the ball wide open or with a defender closing/recovering off balance, enabling him to easily get into the lane and either finish wide open or dish to the next wide open 3 pt shooter.   He is thinking too much and not simply shooting.
     It appears to me that Buzz would like to put a team on the floor with the skills of last year, but with size like this year.   At least 4 guys who can beat their guy off of the dribble and shoot the wide open 3.   Have a 6'3 Mo,   three 6''6 Lazar/Cubi/DJO, and either a 6'9 Lazar or a true post.  The true 5 can set the high screen and then get to the blocks to either clean up after the penetration or take the post pass off of the reversal, avoiding the initial double team.   If/when the double comes, he pitches it to the open wing and the whole cycling of the ball begins again. 
     Defensively, the having 3 big wings allows the defense to more easily shift and rotate, everywhere except the 1 guarding the 5.      If your 5 is a 6'9 Lazar and your other wings are 6'5-6'7, you can be more versatile on defense.    The problem's this year are (A) very few really good on-ball defenders, and (B) a fairly significant size differential that makes our switches look bad and frequently leave our guards trapped down low and too far away to recover out to the 3 pt shooters. 
     I think the schemes are solid.    Buzz has to finish out his roster and get the guys to do it and develop them.
