So, MU finishes 9-9....the same record as UConn...the #16 team in the country. Does that program blow? Are they goin down the crapper? Because, that's what a lot of people here seem to think. Wondering what others think about UConn's garbage, goin-down-the-tubes program compared to MU.

Bring on the Big East Tourney.

Are all 9-9 records the same with an unbalanced schedule in this conference?  Nope.

UCONN, for example, had to play Louisville, Notre Dame and MU twice.

MU got to play Seton Hall twice, along with ND and UCONN.  Advantage MU

UCONN had to play WVU, SJU, and UC on the road...we got those three at home.  On the flip side, we had to play at Rutgers, at Nova and at Georgetown while they got those three at home.  So they play those three NCAA teams on the road and our 3 have only 2 that are going to the NCAA and Nova \ G'Town are sliding.

UCONN also took care of business outside of conference, which we did not.  They beat Michigan State, beat Kentucky, beat Texas (at Texas), beat Tennessee....they simply get a much greater benefit of the doubt.
